Ashok Leyland has been in the forefront to introduce engines to operate on natural gas and has taken the lead to power majority vehicles in India contributing to a greener environment.

The Power Solutions Business have been offering engines for generating sets for select nodes of 40 and 62.5 kVA, with the latest addition of the 124 kVA model -6DTI.NG. The engines running on the unique stoichiometric combustion platform are ideally suited for Indian conditions of variation in gas composition, gas impurities performing better The engines with the latest technology are geared to meet the proposed emission norms of CPCB Tier-11 norms, as well as EU TIER3 norms with catalytic converter and is ahead of the times.

Our esteemed clientele for generating sets include Reliance Industries, Essar Oil, for their Coal Bed Methane projects, as well as Indian Oil, Cairn Energy, small, medium industries, residential & commercial complexes, weaving & textile segments for power generation to name a few.

While the 4 & 6 cylinder liquid cooled naturally aspirated engines are offered with the fixed venture carburetion with closed loop control, stepper motor controller and distributor type ignition system, the 124 kVA, 6 cylinder 6DTI, turbocharged version is offered with the Latest state-of-the-art technology incorporating the distributor less coil on plug type with integrated ECU controls, paving the way for greener power with advanced technology.
